Summer 2017 –  All Camps are Full, but most wait lists are short…

9am-3pm at the GT Commons

Cost is $200 per camper

Nature Adventure Camp (Ages 4-8)

These camps focus on creative play, exploration and adventure.  Children work together in small groups gaining nature awareness and experiential knowledge of plants, mammals, tracking, birds and wilderness skills.  Highly trained instructors guide students into experiences that nurture deep connection to the earth which allows them to feel totally at home in nature.

Four Offered Weeks, 

 

 

Survival Skills (Ages 8-13) 

Wild Food, Natural Shelter, Knife and Fire Safety, Group Survival: Campers will have tons of immersive fun with very hands on learning!  We take the skills of wilderness survival to a high level and teach advanced techniques of knife and tool use, water purification, numerous ways of making fire, and wild food gathering/preparation.  We emphasize the importance of group survival and offer tools needed to work together well as a village.

Survival Skills and The Art of Invisibility (Ages 8-13)

Classic Survival Skills taken to the next level with Camouflage, Tracking and Trailing, Bird Language.   Whether you are brand new to wilderness survival skills or a seasoned camper, this camp will take us all deeper into our skills, awareness and potential.

Survival Skills of the Hunter Gatherer (Ages 8-13)

Tracking, Trailing, Trapping, Bows and Arrows, Atlatls, Digging Sticks, Gathering Baskets:  We will learn from our ancient ancestors as we sharpen our own skill sets and sink deeper into the landscape and our own potential.

Survival Skills of the Explorer (Ages 8-13)

Aidless Navigation, Song Lines, Natural Containers, Quicky Bows, Carrying Fire:  Develop the skills of a natural survivalist on the move!  We’ll tune into the sky and landscape to find our way, learn how to make quicky baskets and bows as we travel, and even learn to carry our fire with us.  We’ll get to learn the most common mistakes that get people lost or dehydrated.
